General Questions
Is your service fully online?
Yes, our service is 100% online. All consultations, assessments, and follow-ups are conducted via secure video call, allowing you to access expert care from anywhere in Ireland.
This approach eliminates travel time and allows you to be assessed in an environment where you feel most comfortable, which is particularly beneficial for neurodevelopmental assessments.
Do you assess both adults and children?
Yes. We provide ADHD and Autism assessments for adults, adolescents, and children, with pathways designed specifically for each age group.
Child and adolescent assessments include structured parent or guardian interviews and, where available, teacher or school feedback – because a complete picture of a young person needs input from the people who see them across different settings. Adult assessments focus on your own developmental history, current functioning, and lived experience, with collateral information from a family member where possible and helpful.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No – a GP referral is not required. You can self-refer and book directly with us.
If you’d like your GP involved, we’re happy to liaise with them throughout the process and can provide a GP summary letter following your assessment to support your ongoing care.

How long does it take to get an appointment?
Initial appointments are typically available within 1–2 weeks of booking – compared with 12–24 months on public waiting lists.
Once you’ve completed your initial screening, the remaining appointments are scheduled around your availability, with most clients completing their full assessment pathway in 2–3 weeks.
How long does it take to receive my report?
Your comprehensive diagnostic report is prepared following your assessment and discussed with you directly in your final report and support session, typically 2–3 weeks after your first appointment.
Medication & Follow-up
Will I receive a prescription if diagnosed?
Where medication is clinically appropriate, a prescription can be issued as part of your assessment pathway – included in the assessment fee, with no separate prescribing charge.
Medications considered for ADHD may include methylphenidate, lisdexamfetamine, or atomoxetine. In some cases, additional medical checks are recommended before starting treatment to ensure it’s safe and suitable for you.
Medication is never automatic or assumed. Your clinician will discuss all appropriate options – including psychoeducation, behavioural strategies, and psychological approaches – and you decide together what fits your situation. If you do start medication, follow-up appointments can be arranged to monitor progress, review side effects, and adjust treatment safely.
Are your reports recognised by GPs, employers and HSE?
Our reports are prepared by clinicians registered with the Irish Medical Council, the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and the Psychological Society of Ireland, working within a consultant-governed framework, and follow DSM-5 diagnostic criteria using internationally recognised assessment tools.
They are widely accepted by GPs, employers, schools, colleges, universities, DARE and RACE schemes, and disability allowance applications. If a specific institution needs particular information added, clarified, or amended, revisions can be requested.
Regarding the HSE: acceptance of private assessments varies between services and individual practitioners, particularly around shared-care prescribing arrangements. If you plan to transfer your care into the public system, we recommend confirming requirements with the relevant service or your GP in advance, and we’ll provide whatever documentation supports that transition.
Pricing & Payments
What are the costs associated with the assessment?
Our pricing is transparent, with no hidden fees:
| Assessment | Adult | Child / Adolescent |
|---|---|---|
| Comprehensive ADHD Assessment | €1,000 | €1,100 |
| Comprehensive Autism Assessment | €1,000 | €1,200 |
| Combined ADHD & Autism Assessment | €2,050 | €2,050 |
Every pathway includes pre-assessment screening, a full clinical interview, standardised diagnostic tools, a comprehensive diagnostic report, a post-diagnostic feedback and treatment planning session, and a prescription where clinically indicated.
Your free 15-minute introductory call costs nothing and carries no obligation to proceed.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. You never pay the full amount upfront.
Payment is split across your appointments, so you pay for each stage as you reach it – and if an assessment isn’t the right pathway for you after screening, you’re not charged for the stages you don’t take. You can also pay monthly with Klarna at each stage, spreading the cost further.
A detailed payment schedule is provided when you book, so you know exactly what’s due and when.
